in my dreams
I always fly.
Last night I hugged you tight and I took you with me. You saw the world through my eyes for the very first time; like a baby discovering the ocean you did not let go of my hand. I showed you how to fly by yourself and as you spread your arms and tried to handle
me and the world you, the world and us, you lost your balance and you crushed.I came running, of course, crying. Ι tired to save you, I came to you but you were disformed, bewildered, untamed; a beast. You frightened me away and that was it.
Now you are flying again, showing off what I taught you. A monster in disguise.
